Our team consists of 11 registered nurses, 3 specialty technicians, 2 front desk coordinators, clinical and medical directors and 3 panel physicians. All clinical staff are trained by approved certified courses in hyperbaric medicine.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) is the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. A chamber is used to deliver 100% oxygen under pressure. A typical course of treatment involves 30 sessions. Each treatment is called a “dive” and lasts for approximately 90 minutes. Common indications for HBOT are diabetic foot infections, refractory osteomyelitis, arterial insufficiencies, compromised grafts and flaps, necrotizing soft tissue infections, delayed radiation injury, traumatic ischemia, gas gangrene, air or gas embolism, carbon monoxide poisoning and decompression sickness.
