Birthing Center

Putnam Hospital Center's state-of-the-art obstetrics unit, opened in 1999, is the most comprehensive birthing facility in the area, offering mothers and their babies the latest advances in birthing techniques, comforts and care - all provided by an attentive, highly skilled staff that includes board certified obstetricians/gynecologists, neonatologists and certified nurse midwives.

The Birthing Center's amenities and facilities are designed to pamper new mothers and boast of private labor/delivery/recovery rooms with private showers, private post-partum suites with added comfort areas for families and visitors, a special suite dedicated to cesarean deliveries, a large, separate lobby area for families and a private interior courtyard for walking and waiting.
