Health Quest Medical Practice Adds Neurosurgery Division

Poughkeepsie, NY – February 1, 2012– Health Quest Medical Practice (HQMP) proudly announces the premier of the Division of Neurosurgery and welcomes Dr. Jack McNulty as its Medical Director. Dr. McNulty is a well-known community neurosurgeon and Director of Neurosurgery at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Dr. McNulty specializes in surgical procedures involving the brain and spine. These include aneurysms, brain tumors, cerebral AVM arteriovenous malformations, epilepsy, Parkinson’s and traumatic brain injury as well as herniated cervical and lumbar discs, spinal stenosis and tumors involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

Dr. McNulty received his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and neurosurgical residency at New York Medical College. He was Chief Resident for Neurosurgery at both St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan as well as Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. He is board certified and a member of the College of Neurological Surgeons and the American Associations of Neurological Surgeons.
