Poughkeepsie, NY –Installing and using child safety seats may appear to be easy enough but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has estimated that close to 3 out of 4 parents do not properly use child restraints. Properly used child safety seats reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71 percent for infants and by 54 percent for toddlers in passenger cars.
That is why Health Quest Immediate Care Center is please to offer a free car seat check event on Saturday, June 16th at their LaGrange location (1100 Rte 55). A nationally certified car seat technician courtesy of Health Quest Community Education will be on hand from 10 am-3 pm.
Technicians will inspect your current seat or teach you how to install a new seat. Please bring your children so they can be fitted to their current seats. Special needs seat fitting is available.
